The Tormented
After losing their 4 year old son in a tragic car accident, Clare and Paul Knox start a new life in Italy. Paul settles into his new job as an engineer on the Strait of Messina Bridge building project while Clare, a photographer, picks up her camera for the first time since the accident. But the past has a way of staying in the present. Paul’s boss Max Velonà is a man who gets gratification from female misery and Clare presents him with the perfect prey. Max’s depraved intentions towards her soon become brutally real as Clare uncovers Calabria’s sinister underbelly, steeped in pagan ritual and supernatural happenings.

Weapon
Whilst seeking support for his personal problems, an ex-soldier unwittingly becomes the subject of a secret program to escalate the war on terror. This is a contemporary and timely film. The media reports daily on the “War on Terror” and the struggle of the veterans of the Iraq and Afghan wars. This saturation exists within a troubling backdrop of the recent financial crisis, the growing scepticism over the reliability of Western Governments and the random acts of terror happening all over the first world. New York, Boston, London, Paris, Brussels, Sydney . . . Nowhere is safe and society is losing faith in the systems that govern and protect their lives.
